Just a thought. I probably the same Alt setup as you and found when I first installed it I got a squeal at engine start up. I had to change to a single pully because of the engine cover, that is when it started. This Alt has a higher resistance at startup because of its ability to charge at lower RPMS and the internal fan, hense the reason for the double pully. I would not only check the tension, but the belt or pullys for glazing. If present, replace. Belt dressings are a bandaid over a problem. Also check the type and rating of the belt, some just grip better before slipping or worse, stretching.
