Reply to "Belt Squeel"

I put a straight edge across it horizontally. I measured the angle of the pulleys vertically. It does not appear to be a positioning issue. I am using a vbelt. The pulley inside the groove is polished and it heats up immediately.

I am starting to think that the pulley is to small in diameter. That it takes to much torque to spin the alternator. I am going to get a larger pulley.
