billet control arms and uprights

I'm going to start collecting parts for next winters suspension rebuild. Everything is at least 30 years old so it is overdue. Has anyone gone the full billet route and if they did, what would they do different or would they do it again, given the expense? I'm interested in the aluminum uprights since there seems to be an opportunity to shave a lot of weight out of the back of the car. Does anyone know a source for these? I called Hall and they said they're not making them anymore. Is all the billet stuff made by one outfit and then distributed by all the Pantera Vendors or does everyone have their own source?
