Reply to "Blown Out Clutch throw-out bearing, want new clutch and flywheel"

Thanks for the reply.

I have decided to go with the CenterForce Aluminum Flywheel 900250-48 and the centerforce dual friction clutch DF132057S

I got that DF132057S part number from entering the pantera into the centerforce website and that's the one they gave me.

But from doing a huge whole day search on the forum, I believe people have been bringing up the clutch system part number DF021048-S which also has an S to it and I can also find that system at the place where i'm getting the clutch at and it's 50 dollars cheaper... Apparently the DF021048-S and DF132057S both work on the pantera? The DF132057S was taken from the CenterForce website themself...

As for the throw out bearing, I can't seem to know which one to get, I believe i should be gettin a radiused throw out bearing as to get a linear clutch feeling and was directed to Tilton but they only make hydralic throw out bearing, and McLeod has a catalog with pictures of their throw out bearing that seems to have a radiused face on their site, but i'm not sure which one to get.

But to get a little more confused and hopefully someone here will have the time to answer it.. but on P.I. Motorsports site, they sell a better throw out bearing for about $150 which they state as..:

Billet steel not cast
New high performance sealed throw out bearing
Adjustable for any clutch
Height adjustable for Borg Warner or diaphragm type clutch
Quality machine work

And it does have a camfered edge.. but not really a radiused one... I would get it if it's the best one due to the high price, but would prefer to go with a less expensive one that's radiused and does the same job if not better. Please enlighten me to where to solve my last problem which is the throw out bearing!

Best Regards,
Larry
