I have always seen the Pantera as a having a real engine and a real heart vs some of these ricers and small engine cars. When they move to a small cube higher revving engine I just lose interest.

I couldn't agree more. Don't ever think of placing a Honda engine in the Pantera...

A 4.6L V8 BMW engine is a great start.

My choice would be the current M5 or M6 500+HP V10 BMW engine...
