I am very fortunate to have been offered another trim piece.

Thanks for the tip about the sealant, I will get some Glass specific goo if I need it.

I will clean the windscreen rubber which seems in good order very very well and I'm told that
sealer may NOT be needed, so I will try it without and see what happens. again thank you for the advice!
