I got my struts back today, and the "New" strut sits inside the old one.

Also re used the top bonnet connectors, to get them to screw onto the new 8mm struts a helicoil was used in each unit, the new strut sits in a plastic cup at the bottom and a new spacer was turned to fit at the top using the 2 original cir clips to retain in place, waiting for the decal now.

A pal carried out the machining as I don't have a lathe or the skills to use one properly.
