Reply to "Bosch alternator sticker"

Chris, the tire pressure sticker was by DeTomaso, and yes, applied in 2 places as shown on Christians ebay listing--there on the door jamb and also on the glovebox, to the left of the latch. The picture of the glovebox is actually 8m1046, the white door jamb is Christian's car (and man, just looking at that door jamb, do you get a sense of what a gorgeous car it is...). At least on the glovebox, the sticker was used for quite a long time, at least since ~8ma800 I'll bet and at least showing up thru some cars in ~8ma1100... 8ma1046 had both in place, that car had original paint and the owners before really preserved that car (including the Mobil Anticongelante sticker, the bulkhead and the windshield safety disclaimer stickers).

I fiddled with making some of these stickers, and Christian instead has some talent on this (!) The Diavia AC driver connection was made by Jonny Woods (very incredible post about 10 years ago) but the colors in Christian's are faithful and his doesn't have the crazy pixelization that mine on the 8ma1046 posting created...

The Agip window sticker is questionable historically, since there seemed to be some kind of marketing promotion esp. with competitor Mobil (that "vin" plate in the trunk wasn't always there, I remember it starting in the ~8ma700 range...And pictures of 8ma798 on Provamo don't show the sticker when the car was a prior color, etc). But damn, the colors look great , even if its not clear where it came from and why...maybe Longchamp?

Very last sticker I haven't tried to sort out is the one for the interior rear view mirror (!) You may be able to get one off an old Arca mirror used on a Lancia...

Your Bosch sticker does look great...amazing what we can make on a computer and get printed online these days...and some people just so much better than me at really making a good result   Lee
