Given your circumstance, the most expedient thing to do is change out the steering column.
Considering you are in Europe, I'm not sure what to tell you to look for?

PROBABLY anything that you choose is going to require some kind of modification to fit it to your car.

One steering column that I have found to have SOME similarities to the Pantera is a Honda Civic. In addition, they have height adjustable columns and the box over the ignition lock looks similar to the Pantera.

BUT if you are going to change it, you MIGHT want to try to locate a used Pantera steering column somewhere in Europe. They do exist. Maybe you could make a deal for a dash board too?

There are quite a few here in the US. Shipping cost might be the issue though. Local would be better.
