Brake lights, are ON

Hi guys, came back from a drive with my exotic car buds last weekend and when I got home realized that my brake lights are staying on all the time. Obviously when I take the key out they turn off, but when the key is on ACC or the car is running, the lights are on constantly. When I disconnect one of the wires off the brake light switch under the master cylinder, they turn off. I tried tapping on the switch to see if it would release, but no help. Anyone know of any possible fixes to try before I replace the switch?
