Hi Dick,
Thanks for that. It makes sense as the car I am working on has webers and no valve that I could find. I will look on the original manifold that I have to see if it is still there. Knowing that they originally came with a fitting makes sense as these cars would have little assisted braking whenever the throttle was wide open.
