Mystery solved. The Pantera has a check valve in the banjo fitting that goes directly onto the booster. I took off the hose from the hard line under the front area and the vacuum side I could hear a "valve type" noise and when blowing the valve closes and holds pressure. As to where to find one for your Lonchamp I would try the usual US vendors as it is probably the same if it has a Benaldi Booster.
