Yes- remove the stock proportioning valve. On most street Panteras, I've found that any proportioning valve does nothing to enhance braking. And the stock one only increased the braking distance by limiting front pressure (where 70% of the braking occurs). For plumbing convenience, some guys remove the guts of the stock valve and braze a plug across the area where the big hex-nut was. Works fine as a distribution manifold.
