I agree with Chuck; I use Porterfield pads in my Wilwood front calipers. Some of the vendors will sell 'used' stock pads at a lower price than for new, but this only delays the inevitable, I'm afraid. If your favorite vendor won't, it's probably because of liability concerns. He doesn't want to hear from your next-of-kin on the issue! Brakes & tires on a car with the potential of the Pantera are NO places to cut costs IMHO.
