Reply to "'MJ' Brass Restrictor Plates NO Longer Available"

Totally understand the cessation of production of the restrictor plates. A lot of other Johnny-come-lately‘s have now come into the market, providing that part, and I guess that is what capitalism is all about.

The De Tomaso family has benefited over the years from many owner/hobbyist endeavors such as Marlin’s. Just think about the privately run websites that we have, this forum, the Bill Taylor electrical diagrams and his rebuilding of the turn signal switches now carried on by John Taphorn….. just regular guys, contributing their skills for the benefit of the other owners

For some of the newbies that may not know, prior to the resumed interest in correct thermostats and restrictor plates, Marlin took his machinist skills and filled a need for hundreds of Cleveland owners, not just here in the states, but many countries around the world.

The dies may be retired, but the restrictor plates will live on for decades. 🙂👍
