The 302 block is an 8.0" block so spacers in the vicinity of 1" would be needed.
Way back someone cast up spacers for this set up. I wanna say Doug Nash, but that was thousands of years ago, but yes you can do it.
As far as WANTING to run this thing on a street car, well looking at that plenum and the cross ram tubes it obviously has been designed for a specific rpm range. I doubt very much that range is 1000 rpm to 3500. Maybe 4000 to 9000 is more like it?
