But seriously, I doubt it's much of a problem, as I just did the reverse (US to Canada) and it was easier than importing used parts. I'm pretty sure that Canada doesn't care what leaves the country, so you just need to check with US customs to get the import rules. I know that I needed a US export stamp when importing the car into Canada, and the same may be needed in reverse, but US Customs should tell you what they need to allow import. They're probably going to want some assurance the car is not stolen etc.
