Reply to "Buying a round for the room!"

Hi Garth,

Thanks for the good wishes. If I had started this a week ago I would have invited you to stop by my favorite hang-out in T.O. - an English pub called The Crown & Anchor - for a pint!

I had already checked out your fine website and reviewed the 'How to Buy . . .' pages links and articles I found there. (BTW I had problems with the links to Asajay, Matt Bradley and Bruce Nardoci's sites, but will try again from a different pc.) I have read Mike Dailey's site thoroughly and have written him to compliment him on it also. I have read these and need to read many more, and spent my lunch hour trying to absorb all the absolutely fantastic compilation of knowledge George Pence has compiled on his Facebook pages on the 351C. I have read, but I have not necessarily comprehended it all - that will come from seeing the referenced items more in person and building my understanding of automotive theory as well. I am not a mechanic or engineer and although I may be loosely familiar with many of the terms about engines, tranny's, sub-systems and suspensions I'm reading about - it is going to take a lot of practical application along with more study to gain an 'understanding'. I grew up overseas and never had the neighborhood guys to hang out with while they wrenched on their hot rods. I hate to admit it, but I've only driven a Pantera once about 30+ years ago when I parked cars at restaurants in Malibu - so I can't even be sure I'd fit much less not make a cock of it! So I look forward to offering my services to any of the semi-local owners that might need an extra hand while doing mods or maintenance.

I look forward to reading more of the info in your website soon.

Cheers back at ya!

Paul
