Cabin Temp

I drive my 72 pantera around quite a bit. One issue is cabin temp. As you drive around for a while, the window behind the driver can get quite warm and heat the compartment even further. There needs to be more air movement thru the engine bay. Has anyone ever experimented with intalling an air diverter under to car to move more air up thru the engine compartment?
