What would be the point of replacing the orignal rod shift designed for the car with some aftermarket cable shift kit? I am failing to see the point. I get that the GT40 kits went that way (only because they were too lazy to design a rod shift like the original car - other than ERA which stayed with the rod). I just dont get it?
