Cable shifter for RBT 6 transaxle

I have an RBT6 transaxle in my 71 Pantera and I’m having an issue with getting it adjusted to get it into reverse. It seems as though I can get the 6 forward gears but it won’t go into reverse. I can get it to the area of reverse it won’t ingage and slip out of gear. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated thank you John
