I sure do like my 10 year old Boyd Coddington Campy-clones

Ditto that. Mine are 15 years old. From Marino Perna at Pantera East, the second version that had the forged centers.

Be aware that THOSE (Pantera East) Coddington-produced clones kept the original orientation of the inner pentagram.

Meaning the pentagram points were clocked to the large single opening, not the two slots.

When another vendor approached Coddington to obtain wheels for sale through his operation, he learned Pantera East had exclusive use of that design.

What to do??!! Coddington re-clocked the pentagram so the points faced the small two slots. VOILA!! NOT THE SAME as the Pantera East version.

Capitalism at its best.

In addition to considering the pentagram orientation, you should take note of the size and depth of the lug nut recesses.

AND... the size of the pentagram. Some are WAY too large, IMHO.

There are also a LOT of differences in the depth, contour and edge radiuses of the various design elements in the various clone versions.

I do not have a clear ...current... view of what vendors are now offering.

Just wanted you to get some idea of things to watch out for in making your decision.
