I have a pair of the American Republic. Order now if you want them for christmas, they are slow... Especially when they send you someone else's wheels and when you finally get the ones you ordered, the rims were bent and scratched by some one trying to fit their tires, badly. I then had to get my damaged wheels sent back to Republic who had to get a pair of wheel tubs made up again, cut the old tubs off the centers, re-weld and send them back out.

They do make the wheels to your backspacing. They also have the correct center "rotation / alignment".

Like the picture that LF posted, their wheels do not have much depth in the recesses. I also had the wheel nut hole bored larger as only the "tuner" small lug socket would fit. The wheels are also not hub centric, which I did not like and had to get rings made up, they are an unusual size. The hub center cap is also not the same size as the DeTomaso badge that normally fits in the wheel center. I had to purchase a new pair of caps to hold the badge as the supplied cap is domed.
