Reply to "Car Insurance"

I got my insurance through Leland West Insurance Brokers
Stated value of 35,00.00 while restoring. Full coverage, 500.00 deducts, glass coverage and 6,000 miles a year allowed for 590.00. Your may be cheaper, I had a previous speeding ticket to deal with.
If you want to check them out, their number is 800.237.4722, ask for Kelly Wiefel or www.lelandwest.com
Nice people !

I have received quotes from four so called specialty companies that deal in insuring classic and antique cars, such as ours, with limited annual milage and an agreed insured value. The companies are: Rally Insurance Group in Elmhurst, Illinois; Hagerty Classic Insurance, Traverse City, Michigan; American Collector Insurance in Cherry Hill, N.J. I understand that State Farm also will insure our cars, but for State Farm the maximum vintage is 1971. Their quotes are less then $20 dollars apart. However, I know absolutely nothing about the above named companies. If anyone has any information, please advise. Thanks. Since 1977 I have been with Allstate, because until now they were the only one that would insure the car. Not only is it expensive, their policy limit cover is "Actual Cash Value". That makes me very nervous since they would determine the car's value.
