Reply to "Carroll Shelby GT5S Pantera's"

A white GT5S owned by Carroll Shelby was restored at Galpin Ford in the San Fernando Valley part of Los Angeles.  I believe it is still in their small auto "museum."  I know I have seen a video on Youtube describing the car.  I'll look for a link.

I don't know if we are talking about the same thing? What I am talking about is Panteras that were invoiced to Shelby, i.e., the window sticker listed Shelby.

If we are talking about Shelby listed in the "Title" that is another thing all together?

About 30 years ago there was a scam being run where one of Shelby's property managers "allegedly" was buying cars on the open private market, titling them in Shelby's name, and then reselling them as "personally owned by Shelby" without him ever knowing about it or even seeing it.

Some of those cars still come up to this day for sale and expect a premium because of Shelby being listed in the chain of previous owners.
