I don't think fuel was entering the hose. It was for vapors. I think I need to know the proper way to screw or rivet or what ever a gas tank. I was going to take the line and the charcoal cannistewr and. I was just going to add a vacumn cap over the fitting but I'll bet it makes it easier to fill the tank to the top.
