The link below shows more of a close up of the paint. It doesn�t really display the metallic that well, but it is the best close up I have of the car. Remember this is just my preference, in that I just couldn�t get myself to buy a Pantera with metallic paint. It just made me think of a low rider with the metallic paint each time I looked at it, and somehow the mix of metallic paint on a Pantera just didn�t suit me. And when I say heavy metallic, I just mean that the flake did not appear to be a fine pearl type of metallic, but then again, it wasn�t supper huge metallic either. If you have no problem with metallic paint, then this should not concern you however.

Besides the paint, I am not sure of any rust issues or not. These things are difficult to determine without a magnet, or poking around in key spots, or at a minimum having the car on a lift. If I was ready to make an offer, I certainly would have taken it in for a thorough inspection on a lift. The body looked good, such as no door dings that I could see, etc.

Also another reason I didn�t make an offer is that I am pretty picky, and tend to choose top notch show cars to make offers on, and this one would require some work to get it up to my standards. I tend to be a perfectionist nut, and the wife complains endlessly about how picky I am, so don�t take my opinion about this matter to be how you may judge the car yourself. You may find it to be excellent depending on your degree of �pickiness�.

I may take another look at the car if I get a chance, but just been too busy lately to do much of anything.

Oh, one last thing, the wife had divorce papers ready if I bought another Pantera anyway.
