I appreciate your time on this. I know I am not as picky as you because my pocket book just wont allow it. Thanks for the photo, I guess I need to get an overall look at the car. A guy in our local Pantera club has a metallic green car with gp 4 flares, 427 etc, (the previous owner was a Korean war ace, (local hero type) and the car is awsum!

I have been trying to contact the seller also and have had no luck. If you hadnt actually seen the car I would have thought the whole thing was totally bogus. If I get the car I get it, but I aint writing the guy a check until I see & check it out myself. I may have overbid considering I don't know what the cars has etc.
The deal is starting to stink a little bit, was the guy normal when you talked to him?

Looks like "Oldschool" bought it as shown on the link below. Is Oldschool you? Actually the seller (Leo) was nice when I met with him months ago about the car. So this was odd that we were both not getting any replys to emails about the car. It could be that it just met the reserve, and once that occurred, he decided he was done with it all.

To be honest, the bodywork and paint job seemed to be done well, and the engine was respectable Hall (not a beater engine, but no killer either). Other than that, all else needed some work in my opinion, to get it even close to a nice respectable car, which I suspect could be done over time. I believe the final price was a fair price for both seller and buyer based on what I saw, although I would have pegged it closer to $30K.

Also, just to clarify, I sure don't have lots of $ either, but I tend to save and then blow it on nicer more complete cars. If you get a chance, I sure would like to see a photo of that metallic green group 4 that you mentioned. That really would be something to see. Sounds ugly to imagine it, but with these cars you never know, it could actually look great.

(sorry for the edits, the link below got messed up)
