I live in northern Westchester County in NY state, about 50 miles north of NYC.
I was wondering if there was anyone in my area that would be willing to spend a little time showing me the in's and outs of Pantera ownership?

Hey Rob

Welcome

First and foremost be patient. Do not I repeat do not look at one up close until you have done your research. These cars are so beautiful and addictive you may just by the first one you see on the spot.
Check out some of the great websites by some of the members on this board. My favorites are:
http://www.panteraplace.com/
and http://www.geocities.com/provamo72/

Also get parts catalogs from the various vendors so you can get an idea how much stuff costs for these cars. Not that bad really.

After that I would suggest you join a local club and see some up close. Talk to owners about the cars' little quirks (It is Italian!).

You should be all set by then.

By the way, I love my car #1683. I bought it in June from a guy in California and it was already in great shape. IMHO buy a car that is already in excellent shape instead of buying one that needs work. You will probably save a lot more money not to mention time.

Good luck have fun and I hope you are a Pantera owner pretty soon.
