Reply to "clutch disk"

The best advice is call a vendor.
My understanding is that a Mustang/Torino disk is thicker and you will have trouble disengaging the clutch enough to shift into 1st and Reverse. Not enough throw at the slave cylinder. A lousy problem to discover when you have just reassembled your drive line. Even though I had a new, correct clutch when I reinstalled my ZF, I still had some "drag". I installed a long throw slave cylinder and drove it a few miles. Now everything works great. I still find I need to shift into 1st before shifting into Reverse to avoid grinding...especially when the car is cold.
I'd call Pantera Performance in Castle Rock, CO. Dennis is an expert on ZFs and will know exactly how to tell if you have the right clutch disk. (303) 660-9897.
Later, Mooso.
