clutch or linkage problem?

Anyone out there have a problem getting the trans into first and reverse? This just started while driving in traffic yesterday.
Clutch seems to be working OK, however, when
the pedal is all the way to the floor, you can't get into first or reverse.I checked the fluid and it was full ( kind of dirty though )
This isn't constant, later in the day it shifted
fine. Any ideas??
