Reply to "Clutch Reduction Kit"

I found the spring necessary for proper functioning in my stock unit. Also, I also "thought" that my stock unit had no pitting on close visual inspection, but when put back it still didn't hold the pressure over time. Just beware, that if you put it back, even correctly with new rings, that it still may not function properly. I had mine in and out about 5 times, before I finally went to a new stock unit (now realizing I should have done that in the first place anyway, to help minimize back pain from the continuous rocker panel pressure). But I hope you will luck out better than me, and you will have a quick fix.
