Just a thought or possiblity
Sometimes when an engine builder balances a engine, they add weight to the fly wheel. If the weight comes loose, suddenly the entire rotating assembly will be out of balance. Or as mentioned earlier, harmonic balancer, either way I suspect you are putting a lot of stress on your bearings.
