I think the 'loop' idea would be best because it would give route exposure to the maximum amount of deTomaso vehicles. If you just run across the top of the US, there is a large contingent in the southern states being left out. If a loop were run, you'd get both coasts and the north and south. Most people will only run legs of the journey, so I think if you give them a leg, they will run it!

I like the book idea that everyone would sign too. A picture of each deTomaso and it's owner would also be nice. Just like passing the book along the route, an SD card for a digital camera can also be forwarded with the book. A 1GB SD card holds 500+ hundred pictures! I'd be happy to do donate one if after everyone downloaded their fill, I get to keep it. I'd also be happy to kick toward it's cost if say PI were to keep it.

I wish we could do it this year!
