Reply to "COLLECTOR CAR INSURANCE?"

Have no idea who AMIG is, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.....on serious note I have just been through an exercise of getting quotes for my cars, if this can be of any help...

I got quotes from Classic Insurance, Sneed, Heacock, Hagerty and American Hobbyist.

Heacock were by far the cheapest (and had zero deductibles). I was very impressed with the rep I dealt with, a true car guy who was hoping to get a Pantera and new some of the Colorado Pantera guys.

In the I ended up staying with American Hobbyist and they came in the middle lower than Hagerty & Sneed.

I had to get a central monitored burglary & fire alarm installed as the value of my cars exceeds $150K. But my reason for staying with AH was that they were the ONLY insurer who did not have a total track exclusion. Their exclusion (only made me sign for the Ultima) read 'timed events and competitive Racing' whereas all other were all cars and excluding 'any on-track event'.
