I question what the mechanical design is inside of the sealed cap on this distributor.
It looks like a variation of what you have now except that the spark plugs are attached to the coils.

I second the suggestion about the Pantera-Electronics ignition.

It is still the only ignition that will fire and clean up a fouled spark plug.

It is the ignition I would recommend to you and it is made just for the Pantera. It is the only system you will EVER NEED.
