FYI,

The Group 4 that sold for $47K was probably bought by the owner.

He told me that morning he had received a very high private offer for his car, and if the auction didn't meet the private offer, he would bid on the car himself and sell it off auction to the fellow who had made the private offer.

If the owner was telling me the truth, it was an outrageous price he was offered.
