Confused ******* needs help

Hey guys, politics here.

Delete if not your cup of tea. Wink

The pirates that boarded a USA registry ship in international waters, terrorized the crew and kidnapped the captain were front-page news last week. After days of a cat-and-mouse stand-off, Navy Seal sharpshooters took out three of the pirates, rescued the captain, and took the fourth pirate captive.

Now to me, this sort of 'gunboat diplomacy' is just what the right-wing folks would applaud as a proper response to lawless thugs preying on American citizens. In fact, this "bleeding-heart" liberal even sees these killings as a proper response to the situation.

But I'm picking up from the main-stream-media (I obviously do not frequent the Rush, Fox News, talk radio style) that the conservative element has a problem with the killings of the three Somalian pirates.

So, will someone please explain to me why this act is viewed as a problem by some of those on the right?

Thanks,

Larry
