I did cut all the various hoses. There is a molded 90deg hose that was substituted with two shorts hoses, four clamps, and a 90deg pipe. Scrapped THAt crap and bought a molded 90deg hose at a parts store. The s shaped pipe up to the water pump was a PIA. Sure seemed to be dimensionally wrong - bends, lengths, etc. Made it work, but not happy with it. The rest was okay. I'm about 75% done with the pipes and hoses. Monday the cooling system will be done, water will be added, and I'll pressure test it. Various "projects" and started to come together. MIGHT try to fire it up later this coming week. Need to check dwell on both sets of points first. And ... so it goes.
