Reply to "Corvette seats for Panteras"

i just got a set of gary's seats, and am very happy with them. workmanship is absolutely top notch, the vinyl looks better than leather, my seats have the cloth inserts--black vinyl and a gray "thatched" cloth, look really really nice.

in my car, installation was a f@#$'ing bitch. but, my seat rails are not oem, and they were each different, had overlapping holes etc., etc.. installation easily took over 10 hours, lots of little stuff was wrong (but not with gary's seats). but from what i see, my installation was far from typical. i also had to modify the seatbelt floor attachment point to clear the seat, arg!!!

headroom is a bit less than with the factory seats....hmmmm, maybe next winter drop the floor pan half an inch??

but, was it worth it. damn right it was, took a drive, never even changed seating position. took a little time (~5 minutes) to get used to the "narrowness" of the seats, but in exchange there is nice lateral support.

go ahead, spend some money, buy gary's seats, you won't be sorry.
