The body shop where my car is currently, has a gentleman who is, shall we say, "portly". Okay, he weighs more than my son's junior high class, but he's a skilled artisan at bodywork (Not his own apparently.)

ANYWAY, he split my 1974 seat, right at the entry bolster. I can get it redone, and reuse it OR I can get it readone and save it for the next caretaker who hates his spine.

This means I get to get a new set of seats. So, I contact Gary today. We talk. (Mostly me.)

I think outloud: "If Ford had said, 'HEY ALEJANDRO, we just figured out how you could spend another <1970's Dollars> per car and still hit the sales target' what would Mr. DeTomaso had done with that interior?"

Me and Gary worked out a design. More like a "continuance" really.

I think it's going to be nice.
