California imports coal generated electricity from Nevada, Utah and Arizona. How strange that they don't want it in their State, but are fine with getting it from somewhere else.

California currently has one coal-fired generating facility. Current out-of-state coal-generated electricity comprises only 6% of the state's total usage.

By 2045, that percentage will be 0%.
