Reply to "Cruise Control?"

Thanks for the link up. Probably no chance that Early Ford, pre-'83 control knob will work though since the original turn signal stem has the horn on the end of it. So, using the dash module, which looks easier to operate anyhow, where would you install it? It would look good imbedded into the center console, but I'd hate to cut a hole in the console. Maybe make a small bracket and put it on the right side under the dash?

Cruise control would be really nice. During long trips, my throttle foot gets hot. There's heat down there, it's just opposite the radiator outlet and in the direct path of the fans. I saw a guy's Pantera in Vegas who had put this gray foam insulation on the outlet of the radiator fans, installed from the top, inside the front trunk area. It would be nice to remove my feet from that hot, air uncirculating area, and let them cool down. Cruise control is the best way to click off the miles without getting a ticket too. Makes driving that much easier.... Radar detector goes off, tap the brake a little.... Wanna pass, smash the gas. No brainer driving.

Pantera upgrade kit. Thanks, I like this tip.
