Reply to "Custom Wiper arms for a 74"

I’m trying to take off the wiper arms on my 74 and even with a “wiper removal tool” they don’t come loose. Really want to avoid damaging anything… Any suggestions or tips?

Do you pull them off while the arms are up against the glass or in the air?

how close to the edge of the arm mount do you need to pull?

would be a helpful with a photo of the stem and the mounting hole on an arm.
