I think that these gauges each have their own ground wires. Make sure that they have a really good connection to ground. Don't connect them to the ground wire in the existing wiring harness. Connect them to their own separate ground point.

If that doesn't work, try removing either the gauges or the fan (which ever one is easier) from the common fuse and temporarily connecting that wire to another fuse.
