I have two of the "fan" switches that run radiator fans and cabin heater fan.

I see that in Jay's original pictures that the BBQ pit was a lot different than the interior lamp switch logo! I had that mixed up for a bit but rechecked...

Tiny light bulb is on the gauge illumination/brightness switch.

I have 7 switches in all... are there cars with less switches?? I didn't get a gas pump switch!

I think the "BBQ pit" for the interior heater/defroster switch could be an acceptable substitute for one of the 4 blade fan versions, as long as it was flat and not embossed.

I've never yet noticed the embossed style on any cars...

What the notch appears to do, is provide orientation for the logo. Notch= down. (6:00 position) That would be my observation.
