Wink, pull off your central-left side(drivers), plastic kick panel, follow the control cable. The valve should be right there, on the bottom of the heater box just left of center. Shoot a couple of shots of WD-40 in the valve and "work" it loose. It worked for me. As far as the air ducts, lay on your back to look up behind the dash, it is possible to reach the paper hoses. It looks to me as if they may have fallen off or become crimped. Good-Luck, Marlin.
