The 4.6 DOHC 32 valve mod motor in my FWD Lincoln Continental would drop right into the compact engine compartment of the Panthera, transaxle and all.
I never warmed up to the design of the Panthera .... can't explain why. It does nothing major wrong, but it doesn't grab my attention. That's just my gut reaction, I respect the choice of those of you who like it.
On the other hand, I can see where the Ghepardo has modern, crisp lines. If I were an auto exec, and I was choosing between the two, I'd go to market with the Ghepardo. I really like the Ghepardo's modern interpretation of the Campy wheels, bravo to the young designer for that.
