If the diz has to come out for any reason I'll hit that pin with the locktite you recommended. I also have some red locktite that once set is pretty impossible to undo without a bunch of heat.

The pin I tapped through the roll pin went in with good resistance.

I have recent experience, with the last 3 gears I've installed, from too loose, to too tight (holes weren't lined up, tried to slam it through and cracked the gear, so I know this particular pin I just sent through the roll pin is just right.

Like I said though, if the diz has to come out again for any reason I'll hit it with the locktite.

Presently, the diz is installed, within a few degrees of where it was when it came out, close enough that a small twist of the diz body will have the engine running.

Plug wires are plugged in, although plugs are out until I crank the motor over and get some oil pressure.

Plugs are gapped and ready to go in, then all I need to do is plug in the one coil wire to the diz and I should have fire.

Car is on jacks, front lower than the rear, and as I've read that is how you want the car positioned for filling the coolant, so we may leave the car in the jacks for the initial start and coolant fill.
