With mine I cut the trunk felt on the side of the box into a flap and folded it over the top of the footbox. Then I lined a 2.5" holesaw up inline with the clutch master center-line. The leading edge of the hole I made was about 1 inch away from the end of the foot-box where the master bolts up. This allowed me to reach both bolts holding the master to the footbox and the linkage pin fairly easily.
